Queenstown Hill House
Queenstown, New Zealand
Framed by the dramatic landscape of Queenstown, this remarkable 1,417m² three-level residence brings together contemporary architecture, natural materials and beautifully considered interiors.
Tréology worked with Trinity Interior Design to create several custom-designed furniture pieces for the home, each conceived to complement the scale, material palette and refined character of the interior.
Central to the dining space is a striking four-metre-long table crafted from twin slabs of ancient New Zealand kauri. Brass detailing and a brass-wrapped base provide a refined contrast to the natural character of the timber, creating a substantial yet elegant centrepiece. Positioned to embrace the outlook, those gathered around the table are treated to spectacular views across Lake Wakatipu.
Throughout the residence, Tréology’s bespoke pieces sit naturally amongst rich timbers, natural stone, tactile finishes and carefully selected furnishings. Each piece was created specifically for its setting, responding to the interior while allowing the beauty and individuality of the materials to remain at the heart of the design.
