Tréology - Crafts Umber Desk for Canadian Interior Designer

At Tréology, every piece tells a story — of origin, craft, and connection to nature.

Recently, the Umber Desk, crafted from ancient river-rescued matai wood, made its way from our New Zealand studio to its new home in Canada. Inspired by mid-century design and finished to a custom colour, the desk reflects our client’s vision while honouring the raw beauty of the timber.

A stainless steel Tréology tag, discreetly attached, records the GPS location where the tree was recovered, embedding a piece of New Zealand’s natural heritage into the final form.

We are grateful for the kind words shared by Martin Ciccone

Melany-Jayne and Andrew Davies provided excellent service and product. The process was flawless — from the ease of customisation, attentive communication throughout, to the shipping and final placement.

Most importantly, my client received a uniquely designed, sustainable, piece of finely crafted furniture. Accolades to them both.
— Martin Ciccone, Martin Ciccone Design Ltd

It’s a privilege to collaborate with like-minded designers around the world who value sustainable design, craftsmanship, and connection to nature.
